Update on Roly and Poly . . .
The orphan bear cubs were picked up yesterday by
the state Fish and Game. They were less than a year old and would not have made it through the winter without the momma. They will be safely "hibernated" over the winter at a wildlife refuge and then released into the wild in the late spring. We will miss them, but we are all glad they will be in safe hands.
