Walker is doing okay following his cancer surgery and long treatment. He started 4th grade today and his brother, Weston, started 7th grade. My granddaughter, Meagan, started her first year in high school today in Portland, OR. Life seems to go on - and it is moving really fast.
I am getting ready to do some quilting on a couple pieces for a coming show at the Zoot Art Gallery from November through January. I have lots to do but I will be ready. There will be three of us fiber artists showing our work. Here is a picture of what is on the quilting machine now - the top one is the small sample piece I did to try some thread work before I do the second one. I like the sample piece. Ready to do the larger piece. These are "The Blues" - well that is the start of their titles and that will probably change.
